If you’re new to speciality coffee and want to begin your coffee journey, this product might just be perfect for you. Goat Story GINA Smart is a 3-in-1 product that can make pour-over, immersion and cold drip without any other equipment and is controlled from an app on your phone!
On offer are two versions of this product, a GINA Basic without inbuilt scales and GINA Smart which has an integrated scale at the base. You might think that buying a cold drip tower and a scale separately has greater value for cost, however, good scales like in GINA Smart cost about $300 and cold drip towers can range in price and quality from $200 to $600 like Hario products. On doing the maths, you’ll find that purchasing GINA Smart is actually a cheaper option and a great quality product for all knowledge levels. However, if you already have scales at home and prefer a more analogue method, then the GINA Basic will work great for you.
This is a really beautiful piece of equipment and was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2018. It would look great on any countertop, in your cafe or sitting proudly in your kitchen.
